Happy Diwali
Diwali is known as the festival of lights and this is the biggest festival in Hindu culture. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
For this manicure, I used Colorbar Exclusive 37 (white creme) as a base on my nails.
Then, I sponged OPI An Affair in red square (shimmery red), Colorbar Metallic Treasure (shimmery gold) and China Glaze Orange You Hot (neon orange) on the base.
The floral decal on the ring is from MoYou Pro image plate 08. The filler polishes are Colorbar All Fired Up, Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow, OPI Uh, Oh roll Down the Window and Milani White On the Spot.
The flower garland above it is freehanded using orange and green acrylic paint.
The footprints are stamped from MJ1 stamping plate using Essie Fishnet Stockings. (These symbolize goddess Laxmi's (Hindu goddess of wealth, love, prosperity (both material and spiritual), fortune, and the embodiment of beauty) footprints).
The "Shubh" and "Labh" words are freehanded using acrylic paints in red and gold (Shubh means goodness and Labh means benefit).
The chandelier on the pinky is a decal form MoYou Suki image plate 09. The filler polishes are Essie Fishnet Stockings and Colorbar Metallic Treasure.
The diya on the pointer is freehanded using a bronze, black, yellow and red acrylic paints. The decal below it is from Bundle Monster image plate BM323. The filler polishes are MoYou stamping polish in black, Deborah Milano Flirty Femininity (pink creme), Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow(yellow creme) and Essie Fishnet Stockings (red creme).
To seal off the manicure, I used NOPI top coat.
