Bangkok – My dream destination with Air Asia

I love travelling and exploring new places. I have been to the US, Europe and many other places around the globe, but never got a chance to visit the beautiful city of Bangkok.

AirAsia is offering great fares through “World Best Online Travel Fair” for travelers visiting Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

For this contest, they asked my choice of dream destination in Asia. I picked up Bangkok without any second thought...

Bangkok, the city of angels is the capital city of Thailand. It has numerous skyscrapers and shopping malls. The city has lot of tourist activities all year round and not to forget the beautiful tourist attractions, spas and loads of shopping!

I would love to:

-       See the Grand Palace worth 200 years of history with Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of Emerald Buddha.
-       Bask under the sunlight at the wave pool in Siam Park City, which is the largest in the world as certified by Guinness World          Records and stretches an impressive 13,600 sq m.
-       Admire the 15 m high and 43 m long image of reclining Buddha in Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
-       See the exotic animals in Dusit Zoo.
-       Recite my prayers at The Buddhist temple Wat Arun known as Temple of Dawn.
-       Experience the winds of Chao Phraya River from The Rama VIII Bridge.
-       Explore the Jungle Cruise river ride in Marine Park of Safari World.
-       Click photographs with various aquatic species in Siam Ocean World and shop from Siam Paragon, the mall.
-       See The Golden Buddha,  the world's largest solid gold statue.
-       Experience the height of The Giant Swing, by standing next to it.
-       Visit Chao Phraya, the floating market at Damnoen Saduak.
-       Taste the awesome Gang Keow Wan (Thai green curry) and Pad Thai (noodles).
-       Shop different herbs, thai dolls, handicraft and fruits at China Town.
-       Hang out at Khao San Road which has numerous shops and restaurants.
-       Ride in Tuk Tuk, the motorized auto taxis.
-       Experience the glitzy nightlife of Bangkok.
