Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquers in Fiesty Fuschia and Sweet Sunshine

Maybelline recently launched their Color Show range in India. Today, I am sharing my views on two shades from this range.

Fiesty Fuschia
Fiesty Fuschia is a bright fuschia creme. It reminds me of Colorbar Rasmopolitan, only a touch lighter. This shade is beautiful but not unique.

Fiesty Fuschia vs Rasmopolitan

Sweet Sunshine
Sweet Sunshine is a bright yellow creme. It is very similar to China Glaze Happy go Lucky. It is nicely pigmented and compared to Colorbar Lemon Drop it is more opaque on nails.

Sweet sunshine vs Happy Go Lucky

Formula:
Both of these have a creme formula. They give streaks on the nails, which can be covered easily with a top coat. They dry quickly. Fiesty Fuschia took two while Sweet Sunshine took three 3 thin coats to reach opacity.

Packaging:
They come in a cute cylindrical glass bottle with black screw lid. The labels are on top of the lid, which makes it very easy to pick the required shade.

Wear Time:
They wore for two days without chipping.

Pros:
Budget Friendly
Nice pigmentation
Works really well for water marbling
Wide range of shades (40) to choose from

 Cons:
Less staying power
Both the shades stain nails
Streaky formula (a top coat is a must)

Retail Price: Rs 75 (for 7 ml)

"The Maybelline Color Show polishes are really affordable and trendy. They are nicely pigmented as well. I highly recommend them."

Thanks for stopping by. Stay beautiful...
