Revlon Colorstay Nail Enamel in Rain Forest and Fall Mood

Hey everyone, today I am sharing my views on the newly launched Colorstay polishes from Revlon. Last week, I went to pick a few more from Maybelline Colorshow collection and ended up picking these two instead. I selected two different finishes and loved them both.

According to Revlon

Colorstay Longwear technology seals nails up to 11 days of lasting color and gel-like shine.
Unique double barrel brush allows for smooth, even, precise application.

Rain Forest is a deep blackened green with tiny flecks of green shimmer. This shimmer gives depth to the shade is clearly visible on nails.

 Formula
The formula is sheer jelly type. This gives opacity in three coats and dries quickly.

Fall mood is a bronze foil with silver.

Formula
The formula is sheer and glittery. It gives opacity in three coats. It dries quickly. The brush strokes are visible while it is wet but it dries down smooth.

Wear Time
Both of these stayed for five days without chipping or tip wear; then I removed these. But it is over the top to say that these will stay for 11 days without chipping/tip wear.

Pros
Gorgeous shades.
Hassle free formula.
Long wear time.
Brush has flat and has rounded edges for easy application.

Cons
Pricey.
Brush picks up more product because of the double barrel.

(double barrel brush)

Retail Price
$4.99/ Rs 350 (for 11.7 ml)

My Experience
The formula of these shades is smooth and hassle free. The staying power is really good as compared to other nail paints. The gel formulas does have gel like shine and don't even need a top coat.

Rain Forest is my absolute favorite and it is a shade which everyone should have in their stash.

Thanks for stopping by. Stay beautiful...
