Colorful Mosaic Manicure

This is second manicure in the series of five colorful manicures I am doing for this Holi. Holi is a religious spring festival celebrated by Hindus as a festival of colors. Today I decided to do mosaic nails. Mosaic Nails are very easy to create and they look pretty colorful.

How To create it:
To create this look use a base color of your choice and let it dry completely.  Then apply different colors in patches touching each other. You can use the nail polish brush itself or a nail art brush for this. Continue making the patches until the whole nail gets covered with patches. After creating the patches, create boundaries around the patches. Continue the process on your nail until all the patches get covered.

Things to keep in mind:
  • Make sure that no patches overlap, they should only be touching the patches around them.
  • Let the patches dry completely before creating the boundary.
  • Let the polish dry completely and then do the cleanup.

I used Pure Ice superstar for the base. For the patches I used OPI Affair in red square, Colorbar Pina colada, pink lady, plum grenadine, Turquoise, Sunset, Sally Hansen’s Going green and Laser.
